WOW-Day is a campaign of the Friends of Waldorf Education in cooperation with the European Council for Steiner Waldorf Education (ECSWE), the German Federation of Waldorf Schools and the Waldorf SV, which represents the students of all waldorfschools in germany.
ECSWE
The Council for Steiner Waldorf Education, abbreviated ECSWE, focuses on the connection of the Waldorf movement to EU politics and the general European exchange of Waldorf related experiences. The national Waldorf Associations are corporative members. continue
German Federation of Waldorf Schools
The German Federation of Waldorf Schools is an association of all Waldorf schools in Germany. Since 2009, the Federation supports the nationwide WOW-Day campaign. continue
WaldorfSV
The Pupils' Council of Waldorf Schools represents the students of all schools that are members of the German Federation of Waldorf Schools. Since 2020 the WaldorfSV has been cooperating with WOW-Day. continue
Who supports the organisation of WOW-Day
The organisation and coordination of Waldorf One World Day has been financially supported in the past, and continues to be supported during the current three-year project period, by foundations, associations and members. This support helps ensure that 100% of the funds raised by students can be passed on to projects around the world.
We are deeply grateful for this trust and support – currently in particular to the Software AG Foundation and other foundations in Germany, the Association of Waldorf Schools in Germany, as well as the members whose support sustains the work of Freunde der Erziehungskunst.

Friends of Waldorf Education
The Friends of Waldorf Education are committed to Waldorf education worldwide and operate as an educational and aid organisation. Since 1971, we have been bringing together people and initiatives dedicated to the holistic, free and dignified development of children, young people and adults. Our areas of work – Waldorf Worldwide, Voluntary Services and Emergency Education – are interlinked and serve a common spiritual and social purpose: to make a positive contribution to humanity and the Earth through living Waldorf education.
