Luz means light and the song was composed by the Brazilian musician and composer Rubinho do Vale. This song was shared with us by the Associação Comunitária Micael in São Paulo, Brazil, with the following message: "We gladly accept the invitation to send a song that radiates positive feelings for us right now, which open up new possibilities, which elate and give us hope. It is called: LUZ - LIGHT. In moments like these, when we are supposed to live isolated from each other because of the corona virus, this song brings us together in spirit and in our hearts."

The Associação Comunitária Micael (ACOMI) is located in Jardim Boa Vista, a neighbourhood on the outskirts of the megacity of São Paulo, in Brazil. ACOMI cares for children and young people who live and work in the neighbourhood with their families, and more recently for adults, especially the elderly. There are no other institutions that could support the cultural or social needs of the residents. This is where ACOMI wants to find a remedy to fight poverty in all its forms.

The collection of songs from all over the world was created as part of the single-day campaign Waldorf-One-World-Day, WOW-Day for short. On this day, children and young people are directly and actively committed to a better world. Besides, they organize a multiplicity of special donation actions, that connect humans on all continents with one another.
