Especially in times like these, it becomes clear that events like WOW-Day are absolutely necessary and essential for living together. On WOW-Day the adolescents learn what solidarity, team spirit and com-passion mean in concrete terms. Skills that are needed more than ever in this day and age. If we do not learn and experience these skills as young people, basic social and human values are lost.

Maybe WOW-Day 2020 will be different than usual. But we are convinced that together we will develop many creative ideas to bring the community to life.

The Friends of Waldorf Education, forward 100 percent of the proceeds of the WOW-Day fundraising campaigns to Waldorf and social initiatives all over the world.

Every day we receive reports of the special situations Waldorf Schools, Waldorf Kindergartens and curative education institutions are currently facing. We would like to support Waldorf Schools affected by the economic consequences of the corona crisis. On WOW-Day we aim to work together to offer every child the opportunity to go to school.
