On 11.01.2019 extensive fires destroyed large parts of the Camphill Farm Community and Camphill School Hermanus grounds in South Africa. Wind and drought caused the fire to spread. All affected persons remained physically unharmed and were immediately looked after by local partners. Emergency pedagogues from Karlsruhe supported the local partners in South Africa.
