On December 3rd, 2016 a team from the emergency pedagogy department travelled to the Philippines to visit the project there for the sixth time. This mission will be the last one in Tacloban and represents the conclusion of the project, which began after the devastating typhoon Haiyan. Meanwhile, there are now 3 Child Friendly Spaces, in which pedagogical offerings for children take place daily. They will now be transferred into the hands of local pedagogues.

At the same time, it is also our team's first visit to the region of Cotabato (Mindanao). For years now, the area has been burdened by heavy conflicts and the resulting civil war. Through seminars, in which representatives from both camps will participate, we hope to be able to support the on-going peace process. read more
